Terms of Service

By creating a GLØW account you agree to these Terms of Service and our Community Guidelines. If you do not agree you must not use GLØW. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after updates are posted constitutes acceptance.

You must be at least 13 years old to use GLØW. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement. We reserve the right to terminate accounts where we have reason to believe the user is under 13.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You must not share your account with anyone or allow others to access it. You must provide accurate information during signup including your real date of birth. You must not create accounts on behalf of other people or impersonate any person.

You retain ownership of photos and content you upload to GLØW. By uploading content you grant GLØW a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content within the platform for the purpose of operating the service.

You are solely responsible for the content you upload. GLØW is not responsible for user-generated content. You must not upload content that belongs to someone else without their permission, depicts another person without their consent, impersonates any individual whether real or fictional, contains nudity or sexually explicit material, contains graphic violence or disturbing imagery, or violates any applicable law.

GLØW uses automated moderation to screen uploaded content. Content that violates our guidelines will be removed and may result in account suspension or termination.

Using GLØW to impersonate another person including uploading their photos without consent is strictly prohibited and may constitute a criminal offence. GLØW is not responsible for impersonation carried out by users. We will act promptly on reports of impersonation and will cooperate with law enforcement where required.

GLØW's scoring system is designed to provide a fun competitive experience. Scores and leaderboard positions are generated by aggregated anonymous votes from other users. GLØW does not guarantee any specific outcome or score. Individual scores within a round are deliberately obscured and users see squad-level results only. This is an intentional design decision to reduce individual social pressure.

GLØW offers optional paid subscriptions (GLØW+ and GLØW Elite) and purchasable GLØW Coins. All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. GLØW Coins are non-refundable once purchased. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time and access continues until the end of the current billing period.

You must not use GLØW to harass, bully, or intimidate any other user, attempt to manipulate voting or scores through coordinated behaviour, create fake accounts or use automated tools to interact with the platform, attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or copy any part of GLØW, use the platform for any commercial purpose without our written consent, or attempt to circumvent any safety or moderation feature.

GLØW reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account at any time for violation of these terms, community guidelines, or for any conduct we determine to be harmful to the platform or its users. We will provide notice where reasonably possible but reserve the right to act immediately in serious cases.

GLØW is provided as a social entertainment platform. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. GLØW is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. GLØW is not responsible for the actions of other users on the platform or on any third party platform including social media platforms accessed through social handle unlocks.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
